About Georgi Trifonov

Georgi enjoys hiking, biking, kayaking, and regular exercise in his spare time. He has come to appreciate the physical and mental benefits of consistent physical activity while also understanding the adverse effects of a sedentary lifestyle through personal recovery from surgeries and injuries. Finding the ability to build meaningful relationships with patients, observe their progress, and actively contribute to enhancing their quality of life are the most rewarding aspects of physiotherapy for Georgi. He excels in treating temporomandibular joint (TMJ) and associated dysfunctions and prioritizes continuing education as crucial for professional growth. Georgi is certified in performing Functional Dry Needling (FDN). He has completed the Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal program offered by the Orthopedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manual and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapists (FCAMPT).

Q & A

I enjoy hiking, biking, kayaking, and working out in my spare time. I have learned to appreciate the benefits of consistent physical activity, both physically and mentally. I have also experienced firsthand the negative impact that lack of physical activity has on your body, as I have recovered from surgeries and injuries in the past.
The ability to form good relationships with patients, witness their progress from day one, and actively participate in improving their quality of life.
I enjoy treating the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) and all the conditions associated with its dysfunction.
I think continuing education is of major importance for the development of a skilled clinician. I am currently in the process of completing my FCAMPT certification, which involves taking post graduate courses for orthopedic manual therapy, research courses and completing both written and practical examinations.
